Contend by Philip Anthony Mitchell | Christian EBook on Jude

A call to stand firm for biblical truth, from the pastor of 2819 Church

Contend: Standing Boldly for Biblical Truth While Winning the War Within is the debut book from Philip Anthony Mitchell, founder and lead pastor of 2819 Church in Atlanta. Mitchell works through the New Testament letter of Jude, which warned a church facing false teachers, compromise and spiritual complacency, and applies it to believers today.

What’s inside

• A study of Jude. Mitchell walks through the letter’s urgent message and shows why it still speaks to the church.
• Two battles, outside and within. The book addresses cultural opposition alongside personal struggles, so the challenge is both public and private.
• Storytelling and reflection. Personal stories and heartfelt reflection keep the teaching practical and readable.
• A message of equipping. The stated aim is to help readers stand firm, battle boldly and finish well.
• An introduction by Matt Chandler. The author’s voice is joined by a foreword from a well-known pastor.

Who it’s for

Christians who want a bolder, more committed faith, small groups and Bible studies working through Jude, and readers drawn to Mitchell’s preaching. It also suits pastors and leaders thinking about faithfulness in the church today.
